By using the website at santaclarafencebuilder.com or engaging QC Santa Clara Fence Builder for any fencing service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who contacts us through our website.
QC Santa Clara Fence Builder provides residential and commercial fencing services in Santa Clara, CA and surrounding communities. Services include, but are not limited to: fence installation, fence repair, fence replacement, gate installation, and fence staining and sealing.
The availability of specific services may vary based on location, permitting requirements, material availability, and scheduling. We reserve the right to decline a project if conditions on-site make it unsafe, unpermittable, or outside our scope of work.
All estimates provided by QC Santa Clara Fence Builder are based on information available at the time of the site visit and are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing is confirmed in a written agreement signed by both parties before work begins.
Prices may change if the scope of work changes, if unforeseen site conditions are discovered during the project, or if material costs change substantially between the estimate date and the start of work. We will notify you of any change in scope before proceeding.
Permit fees, utility marking services, and disposal fees may be listed separately on your estimate. These are pass-through costs and are not marked up.
Once a project is scheduled, we reserve that time in our crew schedule. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee to cover crew time.
We reserve the right to reschedule a project due to weather, material delays, or other circumstances outside our control. We will contact you as soon as possible if rescheduling is necessary and will prioritize your project on our next available date.
Payment terms are specified in your written project agreement. For most projects, a deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, before crew departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in your project agreement. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as noted in your agreement.
We reserve the right to pause work on a project if payment obligations from prior phases of the same project remain outstanding.
Before work begins, the customer is responsible for:
Failure to meet these responsibilities may delay the project and may result in additional charges if our crew is unable to work as scheduled.
Where permits are required, we will obtain them as part of the project. Permit costs are billed to the customer. We complete work in compliance with applicable local building codes. If a permit is not required for your project, we will confirm this in writing. We do not perform unpermitted work on projects that legally require permits.
We stand behind our workmanship. If a defect in our installation work is identified within one year of project completion, we will return to assess and correct it at no additional charge, subject to the conditions below.
The workmanship warranty does not cover:
Material warranties, if any, are provided directly by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will provide you with manufacturer documentation where applicable.
QC Santa Clara Fence Builder is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or from the use of this website. Our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that specific project.
We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that were not properly marked prior to post installation. It is the responsibility of the property owner or customer to ensure that utility marking (811 call) is completed before excavation begins.
